The Grasshoppers did what the Grasshoppers have been doing all season on their home deck against White Hills in the second semi-final: dominate.
The Demons never really had a sniff at taking the lead, with Colbo piling on 17 goals to nine in the opening stanza.

While White Hills remained consistent with another nine goals in the second quarter, the Grasshoppers slowed down a touch with 13.
The Demons (12) thought they were in with a chance as Colbo submitted the same 13-goal effort in the third term, but at this point the game was gone.

Settling for 10 goals down the stretch, White Hills was never quite able to catch the Grasshoppers (18), who sailed away to a 61-40 win.
With Colbo assured of a place in the grand final, it will either be a rematch with the Demons or a date with arch-rival Mount Pleasant.

While Mount Pleasant was able to get away comfortably in the end, the first quarter was a rock fight with the Hawks (13), with an extra goal giving the Mounts (14) the edge at the first turn.
Huntly added 10 more to its total while Mount Pleasant began to make its mark with 15 goals in a decisive second period.

Both sides faltered after half-time, with the Mounts (10) still managing double digits in front of goal while the Hawks eked out eight in reply.
While Huntly matched its third quarter efforts down the stretch, Mount Pleasant exploded for 20 goals in the final quarter to well and truly rip the game away.

The final score was 59-39.
This means that a date with arch-rival Colbinabbin on the biggest stage of them all is in sight, but first, the Mounts will have to best White Hills at Elmore Recreation Reserve this Saturday.
