Rochester had no answer for league leader Moama at Rochester Bowls Club, the Steamers cleaning up in all three rinks.

Jock Linehan led a huge 34-9 victory over Richard Feuk, while Robert Young also ran up a big score, 31-17 over Rochy’s Leslie Walles.
The final rink was more closely fought, but still went comfortably to Moama, Geoffrey Beattie getting by Tim Quinlan 23-15.
Kaye Barker was easy to spot.

On the final scorecard, Moama prevailed 16-88 to 0-41.
Action resumes on Saturday, January 17, with Tongala taking on Deniliquin, Stanhope playing Moama, Rich River meeting Mathoura and Kyabram tackling Rochester with Echuca on the bye.
