Colbinabbin got the best of the Lions by 20 runs, the Ducks quacking all the way to the bank on the back of strong knocks from Xavier (34) and Hamish Hooppell (28).
Hamish also snagged four wickets in a complete performance for Colbo.

Tongala needed until the final two deliveries to hunt down Rochester, eventually getting the job done by two wickets.
Rochy looked as if it may get home, but a no-ball single on what should have been the innings’ penultimate delivery, levelled the scores, allowing Travis Johnstone, who anchored his side with 38 unbeaten, to scamper through for the winning run with a ball to spare.
Gus Underwood C-grade Shield
BLU was dominant with the bat, eclipsing 200 on the way to a big win over Cooma.
Justin Guppy’s 35 led the way for the Lions, closely followed by Jye Kuiper and Nathan Neville’s 31s.
Echuca South was unable to get a side together to take on Rochester, forfeiting the points.
Peter Raglus D-grade Shield
BLU had a good crack at chasing down Stanhope’s 4-206, but fell 15 runs short.
Cooper Fisher retired with his 50 for Stanhope, as did BLU’s Eric Bish.
Colbinabbin capitulated with the bat, leaving a meagre 21 for Girgarre to hunt down, which they did in short order.
Henry McFadzean (12) provided the only Colbo resistance, while Lachlan Turpin (3-1) was among the bowlers to have a day out for Girgarre.
