Having been bowled out for 184 on day one of the contest, BLU had its work cut out for it as Moama resumed day two at 0-20 with skipper Joel Murphy (9) and the in-form Fraser Buchanan (13) at the crease.
But that quickly became 2-32 as Jeremy Felmingham (4-38) struck twice within four overs to remove both openers.
Michael Hill and Archie Teasdale occupied the crease together for a brief period before Hill (6) made way, caught behind off the bowling of Luke Thompson (4-25).
Teasdale and new batsman Anthony McMahon steadied for the home side, adding 60 together and dragging Moama to 111 before the fourth wicket fell and Teasdale (29) departed, with Noah Turner (2-19) finding the breakthrough for the visitors.
McMahon (38) followed with the first ball of Turner’s next over, and when Jack Russell was sent packing by Thompson, BLU well and truly had the upper hand as Moama slumped to 6-119.
Felmingham helped mop up the tail, snaring the scalps of Jordan McGregor (0) and Kirk Teasdale (1), before Thompson ended the innings, removing Matt Saunders (17) and Rhys Drennan (4) to hand BLU the four points.
The result sees BLU close in on the top two places on the ladder, just two points behind Echuca in second, while Moama still sits four points clear on top, courtesy of its 11-game winning streak to start the season.
