Rhinos captain Lachlan Marshall won the toss and elected to bat.
The away side were in early trouble at 3/5 with batters Jonty Tubb, Ted Wren and Charlie McCallum falling cheaply.
Noah Bradley and Senaka Lakmal then put on an important 36 run partnership on a tricky pitch before Bradley was out for a quick fire 29.
New batter Darcy Finn was quickly removed, and Lakmal was out eight runs later for 12 to leave the Rhinos 6/49.
Stephen and Lachlan Marshall both added six runs, and Prem Muppidi added four runs to take the score to 62.
Deni Rhinos senior debutant Blake Marshall was caught out as Archie Beehag finished not out without scoring.
Defending a score of 62 after 30.4 overs, the Rhinos bowled superbly.
Muppidi got the first two wickets, claiming both openers - one caught by wicket keeper Tubb, and a caught and bowled to have Katunga 2/19.
Lakmal had the next wicket, caught comfortably by Noah Bradley, with Katunga now 3/27.
Charlie McCallum then got the breakthrough of Katunga’s top scorer Matt Hodgetts for 13, caught by a diving catch by Ted Wren.
Wren was then in the wickets, reducing Katunga to 5/37 with another catch by Bradley.
Henry Pisasale joined in, getting an important wicket, caught by Tubb.
Bradley then turned hero with the ball, cleaning up the tail and getting four wickets from three overs without conceding a run.
This included two caught by Tubb, one LBW and one caught by Muppidi.
Katunga were bowled out for 47 in 22.5 overs, and the young Rhinos side celebrated a great win by 15 runs.
