Benalla Bridge Club
Our numbers of Bridge players were down a little last week, but with members returning from holidays in the coming weeks, we will expect a return to our usual attendances.
Christine and Peter had an excellent score of 75 per cent on Monday, while Kay and George, and Tige and Margie had wins on Wednesday. It was good to see Lachie back playing and he teamed up with Michele on Monday for a second place.
Any readers who would like to learn how to play Bridge, please contact us (benallabridgeclub@gmail.com or by text to 0438 625 638) to register your interest.
Bridge is recognised as perhaps the best card game, and combines the elements of communication (through making the bids) and problem solving and memory training (through playing the cards). We offer a series of six basic lessons, followed by a number of supervised play sessions, to get you started on your Bridge journey.
