Corowa Anglers attended the Southwest Angler Ass. competition at Buckingbong on the Murrumbidgee River.

Five different clubs were in attendance. Corowa Took out all the honors for the weekend.

Harry Griffin with a 79cm cod took out the men’s Largest Cod. Best Bag in the men’s, went to Lew Brindley with a staggering 12 legal Cod.

Measuring a total of 7.34m. Karen Nelson took out the women's divisions with the largest cod at 64cm and the best bag totalling 2.35m.

Liam Nelson followed up by taking out both Jr divisions with the largest cod at 69.5cm and best bag at 3.16m. Tracey Carter-Strachan finished off the individual categories, with the largest Yellow Belly for the entire comp landing a 51cm Yella.

Corowa Anglers took home the Club Attendance and Champion Club awards with 23 anglers catching a total of 36.31m of legal cod.

Corowa Anglers will be holding the annual Restock the Murray bowls day at Club Corowa bowling greens on March 10.
