Following the Christmas and New Year break, teams will return to action on Friday and Saturday in pennant action.
The mid-week action will be headlined by division one's side game against Echuca as Rochester looks to make inroads into the top four.
Echuca sits second on the ladder and victory would help push Rochester close to earning a place in finals action.
Meanwhile, the division two side will also face off against Echuca in a crucial match-up with the two sides sitting in fifth and fourth place respectively.
On Saturday, Rochester's division one weekend pennant team will look to keep its finals hopes alive when it takes on the winless Deniliquin RSL.
At its best, Rochy has proven it can match it with the best teams in the competition and this is another opportunity to lay a strong foundation for the remainder of the season.
In division two, local bragging rights will be at stake when fifth-placed Rochester plays bottom of the ladder Lockington.
The division three side meanwhile will take on Deni RSL which also sits at the bottom of the ladder, while division four plays Lockington.
