The Cobram Secondary College students, known as Team Hammertime, are the only Australian team set to compete in the international competition this year.
As they prepare for the trip, the team has been grateful for the overwhelming support of the Cobram community, which has helped fund their journey to the H2GP World Finals.
Most recently, the boys received a generous $10,000 donation from the Freemasons.
Senior Freemason for north-east Victoria Geoffrey Thompson said the Cobram Lodge approached him for assistance in securing additional funding for the team.
"I belong to the Numurkah Lodge and I became involved because the Cobram Lodge asked for my help due to my connection with the Freemasons Foundation in Melbourne," he said.
"I've submitted a lot of applications for funding over the years. The Cobram Lodge had already committed $2000 and asked if I could help secure additional funding.
"I was able to obtain another $8000 for them, which was great."
Cobram Freemasons Lodge senior member Rob Gee said the students' achievement was something the organisation was proud to support.
“They're going over to represent not only Australia but Cobram, their school and more importantly they're representing themselves,” he said.
"We thought it was a wonderful achievement by these boys and wanted to help them on their way."

The world finals will be held in Biel, Switzerland, with competition beginning on Monday, June 29.
In addition to the competition, the students will attend a cultural dinner where they will enjoy fondue and exchange gifts with a partner school from another country.
The boys said they were incredibly grateful for the support they had received from the Freemasons.
“Their support will help us make the most of this opportunity and continue our journey to the H2GP World Finals,” they said.
As the trip approaches, the team members said they were feeling a mixture of excitement and nerves, but after months of preparation, they were eager to test themselves against teams from around the world.
“We would like to thank the entire community for the amazing support we've received throughout our H2GP journey,” Team Hammertime said.
“Every contribution has helped us reach this point, and we're proud to represent our community and Australia on the world stage.”
Mr Gee said they Freemasons wished the boys all the best in Switzerland.
“Win, lose, or draw, it doesn't matter; we're very proud of what they have achieved so far,” he said.
