The $2,500 project was boosted by a $946 Federation Council grant as part of Round of the 2021-22 Community Grants Program. A significant contribution was also made by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation.
The ramp and rails were manufactured and installed by Brock’s Welding in Corowa.
“A big thank you to council for contributing to the cost of the project,” CWA secretary Heather Kerr said.
“Special thanks also to Chris and Justin for a magnificent job, it is a much-needed addition to our premises.”
The Oaklands CWA has being an integral part of the Oaklands community for more than 70 years. This year the Oaklands branch will join in the CWA of NSW celebration as they mark 100 years as an organisation.
