Kyabram Fauna Park is celebrating its newest addition, a koala joey, which has started popping out from the pouch of first-time mum Freckles.
To celebrate, community members are invited to participate in a naming competition.
Keepers have shortlisted four names for Kyabram’s newest addition, which community members can choose from: Biyala (river red gum), Wanyarra (active), Yurringa (sun) and Gumnut.
The new joey joins five other southern koalas at the park.
