Kyabram RSL to unveil Cooma memorial wall

The Kyabram RSL Sub-Branch is inviting community members to attend the official unveiling ceremony of the Cooma memorial wall.

The memorial wall honours local men and women who served Australia in war and conflict.

It features two granite plaques from World War I and World War II, which were preserved and relocated from the Cooma Community Uniting Church before its sale.

Vietnam veteran and RSL Victoria state vice-president Des Callaghan will perform the official unveiling.

Attendees are welcome to wear service medals.

Following the formal ceremony, attendees are invited to gather at the Kyabram Club for light refreshments.

The ceremony will take place at the Kyabram cemetery on Friday, August 28 at 11am.
