Next week there will be a congregation of performances happening at the town hall called Pulse Deniliquin.
It is being staged by the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit.
Pulse Deniliquin will consist of music, dance and film workshops for K-12 students that will take place at Deniliquin High School and Deniliquin Town venues for 600 students from the Deniliquin area network of schools.
The workshops will be on Tuesday and Wednesday next week and then two performances in the Town Hall on Thursday.
Tickets to the performances are available at https://events.humanitix.com/pulse-deniliquin-2025.
Wet weather to remain
After a rain filled weekend Deniliquin locals were treated with a rare double rainbow.
A double rainbow is a stunning optical phenomenon caused by sunlight interacting with raindrops in the atmosphere.
Deniliquin local Valerie Hughes was able to snap a picture of this rare phenomenon.
The rain will continue into the weekend and next week with showers expected.
Camera Club exhibition
The Deniliquin Camera Club will be hosting their 2025 exhibition between August 8 and September 6 at the Edward River Arts Society.
The exhibition will feature the southern sky astrophotography display.
The display has featured across Australia including at the Powerhouse museum and the Sydney Observatory.
It will include stunning imagery of the southern sky and space scape.

Golden Oldies events continue
The Golden Oldies are known for their monthly gatherings at the Deni RSL Club, and earlier this month the group had another special outing for their winter PJ day.
Group members put particular effort into their PJ costumes including an appearance by two bananas in pyjamas.
Attendees are welcome to attend the Golden Oldies events with the next event currently scheduled for next Friday, August 1 at the Deni RSL Club.
The group was started to create connections and activities for older residents in the community especially following the hiatus of community events as a result of COVID-19.
The group started with 20 members, and continues to grow.
For more information about the monthly events contact the Deni RSL Club.
