The funding stream aims to boost creativity in regional Victoria by bringing top artists to local venues and building regional talent.
Successful applicants will be supported with costs related to programming and presenting creative shows.
The program also helps local venues to upskill staff, reach new audiences and develop long-term business plans, and supports mentorships and workshops to build skills across regional communities.
“Labor is ensuring all Victorians can take part in fun and fulfilling creative events close to home,” Creative Industries Minister Vicki Ward said.
“Creativity is thriving in our regions and Labor is supporting the work of the staff and volunteers who are the backbone of vibrant creative communities across Victoria.
“Since its launch, the program has supported more than 100 performances across regional Victoria.
Previous recipients have presented everything from storytelling residencies with performers to music workshops and touring productions.
“We know that some of Victoria's most memorable arts experiences happen in small halls and community spaces,” Regional Arts Victoria chief executive Jo Porter said.
“This program empowers local presenters to create those moments and ensure creativity continues to flourish across regional Victoria.”
