But we know rain is patchy, and our rural areas usually collect more.
Of that amount recorded at the airport, 15.8mm fell to 9am Sunday, with the remaining 27.2mm delivered between 9.01am and 1am Monday.
The PT office roof did not cope well with the light but consistent downpour, with a few leaks here and there.
It’s likely a few other buildings were also impacted.
There’s also likely to be a few puddles around until the water drains away properly.

Blast from the past
The Deni Rovers Football & Netball Club held its last social function of the season on Saturday night, with a 1970s and ‘80s themed trivia night.
Group in tables of between six and 10 team members, participants did their best across three rounds of trivia based on the selected decades.
Keeping them content during rounds was the catering by Little Gypsy.
Neon tracksuits were the costume of the night, with plenty of others paying homage to both decades with other great outfits.

Foxes sneaking around
It is chilly out and about, and while most of us are snuggled up seeking warmth once the sun drops - there are others who take it as an advantage to skulk around and scavenge.
Locals are again reporting an increase in fox sightings around town, including near the Cobb Highway and Memorial Park.
Foxes are one of Australia's worst pest animals.
They not only prey on livestock and native animals, but they have the potential to spread exotic diseases, including rabies, which would seriously threaten livestock, wildlife and human health should it enter the country.
