Decorations light up streets

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Rochester as the town is slowly adorned in Christmas decorations.

An electrical company was spotted on Wednesday, November 15, decorating the pavilion in Rochester with lights and Christmas wreaths.

Campaspe Shire Council communities director Jo Bradshaw was elated with the decorations as they went up in Rochester and surrounding towns.

“Many decorations have already been installed and Rochester’s Illumination Station will be in by Friday, December 8, and will remain in place until mid-January,” Mrs Bradshaw said.

“Campaspe Shire attracts thousands of visitors over the holiday season and the new Christmas in Campaspe flyer encourages locals and visitors to explore the decorations across the municipality.”
