The raffle — which has been on sale since January — will see a brand new Toyota Corolla drive out of Echuca Toyota, all in the name of supporting independent living for people with a disability.
All of the proceeds of the ticket sales will go towards the Opening Doors Project in Barry St, which will provide four people the opportunity to live independently in the community while still receiving the support they need.
So far, the draw has sold 1549 of the 3000 tickets available, and raised $38,725.
CLRS chief executive Leah Taaffe said the Opening Doors Project was almost complete.
“They’re very nearly finished and looking really good,” Ms Taaffe said.
“What people are contributing to is something solid and tangible.
“It will make a significant difference to the four people who will be moving in there, and their quality of life — that’s invaluable.
“Thanks to our partners, every single penny of the ticket sales goes towards the project.”
CLRS aims to raise $75,000 towards the Opening Doors Project through the raffle ticket sales.
The winner of the 2022 eclectic blue Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport Hatch valued at $27,350 including on-road costs will be drawn on June 17, in partnership with Echuca Toyota, Edge FM, Riverine Herald and Moama Bowling Club.
Other major partners of the raffle are Echuca Workers Club, Moama RSL, Rich River Golf Club, Murray River Council, Riverboats Music Festival and Echuca Printers.
