Many SES volunteers will also be lending a hand.
CFA members will drive fire trucks around town to collect donations. When residents hear the sirens, they are encouraged to go outside and donate.
Several Eftpos machines have been acquired, which will make donating easier than ever.
The fire trucks will start at the northern end of town from Allan St in the morning and will cover the southern side in the afternoon.
The fire station will be open and accepting walk-in donations from 9am until 6pm.
For those who require volunteers to come to them to collect donations, requests can be made by phone on 5852 1256. This is a special number that will be in use only on Good Friday.
Digging deep: Kyabram Good Friday Appeal co-ordinator Mick Crompton, pictured with Tilli Findlay, helped raise total of $31,671 from the Kyabram community in 2023.
“The goal is always to meet the previous year’s donations, but at the end of the day it’s about getting out there and trying to raise as much as possible,” CFA member and Kyabram Good Friday Appeal area co-ordinator Mick Crompton said.
All donations, big and small, will be welcomed and appreciated.
