Berrigan is recognised as the birthplace of the NSW Rural Fire Service and organisers are looking for any assistance with old trucks, fire fighting equipment or photos as part of a history display.

Berrigan Red Cross thanks everyone who supported the successful election day raffle, with proceeds going to the Cyclone Alfred Appeal.
Donations are used as follows:
$35 - can provide a wellbeing check for someone who is isolated or been through an emergency.
$115 - can equip five families in regional Australia with their own ready-to-go emergency plan.
$150 - can help Red Cross deliver a door-to-door support service, checking on residents in the aftermath of an emergency.
Raffle winners were: 1st John Nolen, 2nd Chris Myers, 3rd Anne Nevins.
Red Cross Sunday was held in the Anglican Church recently with a good attendance, and following the service all enjoyed the delicious luncheon, thanks to Anglican ladies and assistants.
Red Cross International day was celebrated on May 8.

Berrigan Hospital held a successful street stall last Friday
Raffle winners were: 1st Aileen Bonat, 2nd Thelma Ryan.
The auxiliary is providing two modern multi-function lo beds for the acute wards and 10 over-bed tables for the Residential Aged Care.
The auxiliary is very thankful for all community support.
