Auxiliary members and other volunteers held the cake stall outside My Shop in Napier St, Deniliquin.
Auxiliary president Mari Drennan said it gave people one last chance to buy tickets in the raffle, which had been running for four weeks.
“It was a great fundraiser, and proceeds of which we’ll now use to purchase more items on the wish list for Navorina,” Mrs Drennan said.
“These items will aid in the comfort and ease of movement of residents.
“We’ll now look to starting our next raffle, which will be drawn for Mother’s Day.”
Mrs Drennan said the auxiliary is also leading a donation drive to help decorate the nursing home, which has undergone significant renovations in the past few years.
Art to adorn the walls is specifically requested.
“The place could do with a bit more colour,” Mrs Drennan said.
“We’re asking people to donate their unwanted art, or perhaps even loan us some art to display.”
