Be a Fun Bun Friend to support Breast Cancer Australia

Twenty thousand Australians are diagnosed with Breast Cancer every year, creating a time of fear and confusion.

Breast Cancer Australia is there for those Australians and this year the Kyabram Baker’s Delight will be donating profits from the sale of Fun Buns — between April 28 and May 18 — to the organisation.

Last year the bakery raised $10,000 — and Elizabeth Duddridge from Baker’s Delight is hoping to better that this year.

“This year we are hopefully looking to raise $12,000 to go towards Breast Cancer Australia,” she said.

People can purchase a Fun Bun for $7, with all proceeds going to the cause.

“You can collect all three Fun Bun Friends, with each one having a different name and message behind them to support people with breast cancer,” Ms Durridge said.

There is also a tin in-store where people can donate, and the bakery will host a BCA Day on May 11, which will include a raffle with prizes to be won.

“We didn’t think we would hit the goal last year, but the BCA Day got us over the line,” Ms Duddridge said.
