A MAN accused of robbing a Rochester bank and service station is behind bars.
Michael Blow faced Bendigo Magistrates Court from a video link at Echuca on Wednesday afternoon.
The 25-year-old was dressed in a green t-shirt and silent throughout the proceedings.
The court heard Blow “had significant mental health issues” and was overdue for an injection of his anti-psychotics, as well as potentially withdrawing from the drug ice.
He did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody.
He will reappear before Echuca Magistrates Court on March 3.

A MAN accused of robbing a Rochester bank and service station will face court today.
Campaspe Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested the 25-year-old in Rochester this morning and charged with three counts of robbery, as well as possessing a drug of dependence (ice).
The 25-year-old allegedly robbed a bank in Bendigo on Monday, before yesterday moving onto a Rochester service station and a bank in Gillies St where staff were threatened and cash stolen.
Police believe he stole an amount between $200-$2000 and acted alone.
Detective Sergeant Barry Gray of Campaspe CIU said threats were made in relation to possessing a weapon but no weapon was found.
“It was no doubt traumatic for the people involved,” he said.
“Obviously the welfare of the victims are paramount in our minds.”
He will appear in Bendigo Magistrates Court by video link from Echuca this afternoon.
