The event will see competitors from across the country compete in the two-day event which will involve three timed practices, a six-minute qualifying, three heats and a final.
This weekend's event will be the penultimate round of the series, with points accrued at Rochester set to go towards deciding the overall winner.
Rochester club member Marc Fillipi said it was important for the club to hold these types of events.
"A lot of the big events are held in Melbourne and these competitions allow the country clubs to maintain their strength," he said.
"There is a strong family feel around the series because everyone knows each other and gets along."
The club are also seeking donations and sponsorship to help with hosting future events.
