From October 20 to 27, 1500 Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia members are expected to attend the eight-day rally, while using the opportunity to explore surrounding areas.
Passionate travellers, both young and grey, are expected to inject up to $2 million into the local economy once they descend on Elmore Events Centre.
And Saturday’s public open day will raise funds for Rochester Community House through gold-coin donations.
Campaspe Shire announced its plan in February to spend $4000 preparing for the upcoming national rally, which will be held at the regular site of Elmore Field Days.
The funding will help pay for two courtesy buses and signage for the event and Councillor Leigh Wilson said he hoped attendees would also visit neighbouring towns.
Seminars, games, music, craft and entertainment will be available, while traders from the Rochester Market will join with member stallholders.
Early bird registrations are $85 per person (before September 23) and late registrations $110. Unpowered sites are $12 per night and powered $19.50.
