Woodside took the case to the Supreme Court of Western Australia to force the Disrupt Burrup Hub campaigners to hand over documents about the planning of the June 2023 incident.
About 2000 staff members were evacuated from the company's Perth headquarters when protester Kristen Morrissey released stench gas at the site.
Morrissey, and fellow campaigners Emil Davey and Joana Partyka, each pleaded guilty over the incident and in July 2025 received criminal penalties ranging from suspended jail terms to community-based work orders.
Woodside continued to pursue its case in the Supreme Court, seeking access to all documents that described any person involved in the planning, preparation or execution of the protest.
The activists had dubbed it an imitation lawsuit, also known as a SLAPP case.
Justice Matthew Howard on Thursday dismissed the case, finding Woodside had not established there were more people involved in the protest.
"The evidence put before the court does not give rise to the necessary appearance of another person or persons being involved in the incident," the judge said in his written reasons.
"I find that the plaintiffs' evidence and submissions do not rise above mere conjecture or speculation, and I would dismiss the application on that basis."
Partyka, a ceramic artist and campaigner, described Thursday's ruling as a "hugely humiliating" decision for Woodside.
"Woodside has tried to prevent people from following in our footsteps and calling out Woodside's destruction because our action was so successful," she said in a statement.
"Their attempt has been decisively thrown out in under a week."
A Woodside spokesman said the company had noted Thursday's judgment and was reviewing it.
The Burrup Peninsula, located in WA's Pilbara region and known as Murujuga to traditional owners, contains the world's largest and oldest collection of petroglyphs.
Disrupt Burrup Hub claims Woodside's operations in the area and its proposed expansion will significantly harm the environment.
