The moment Dot walked in and saw so many familiar faces was truly unforgettable, her surprise and joy lit up the room.
Guests came from all walks of her life: friends from Vinnies on Benalla Rd where she generously volunteered, familiar faces from her beloved St Brendan’s church community and her spirited walking group companions.
So, what’s the secret to Dot’s long and vibrant life?
A fun-filled mix of tennis, endless cups of green tea, daily word searches, keeping up with the newspaper — and never saying no to a good lunch with friends.
Ninety-nine years young and surrounded by the love of family and friends.
