The event, which welcomes anyone from the local community, is designed as a chat and networking opportunity.
A guest speaker is invited to speak at the event for 10 to 15 minutes, with this month’s guest Kate Taylor from Rochester Secondary College and representatives from the Rochester Primary School and St Joseph’s School.
They will be speaking about the year of 2021 and how it has impacted upon their schools, teachers, students, parents and the school community as a whole.
Those present at the breakfast are then invited to speak about their project, activity, or workplace for around two minutes.
The meeting aims to be finished by 8:55am to allow people time to get to work; however, members are able to leave early if needed.
A density limit of 20 people applies to this event due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.
If you wish to attend the Rochester Community Chat Breakfast, please RSVP via text to Rochester Rotary Club president Heather Watson at 0439 842 177 to ensure limits are adhered to.
Guests are asked to please wear a name badge.
Arrival time is 7:50am on Thursday, October 21, for an 8am sharp start.
The Rotary Club of Rochester is the facilitator of the meeting but Rotary business is not discussed.
