The school entered four mixed netball teams, made up of grade 5 and 6 students with the help of five grade 4 students.
All teams had fantastic fun, playing six games of netball throughout the day.
The students were either playing in their competition or had the chance to go and cheer on one of the other teams on another court.
The grade 5 mixed blue team competed in Section 1 of the grade 5 competition.
The team was expertly coached by Bec Moon and produced some fantastic netball for the whole day, going through undefeated and winning a medal as the champion team.
Maddie Howard was brilliant in defence and Kaylah Moon and Sophie shot with great accuracy.
Grade 5 yellow was made up of a combination of grade 4 and 5 students.
The team performed exceptionally well considering their age and were competitive in every game they played.
They managed a win in one of their games and drew another.
Rachel Major and Virginia Toohill did a wonderful job to teach and instruct their team.
Cale James was excellent in the centre and in defence while Lily Reid proved strong as goalkeeper.
One of the grade 6 mixed teams competed in Section 1.
The team was really unlucky not to be the winner of their division, missing out on first place on percentage.
They dropped just one game for the entire day, after drawing another.
Trey White was brilliant in centre, Pepper Bannon was fantastic in goals and Brock Keenan acted as a wall in defence.
Jeje Mirasol and Carly Honey did a brilliant job coaching the team for the day.
The other team on the day was the mixed grade 6 team who were entered in the Mixed Champs section.
This team was coached by Bec Crawford and Jac Rasmussen, who did a terrific job managing the team and getting them to play at their best.
They had a brilliant day, only dropping one game and drawing another.
As this section leads onto the regional mixed netball finals in Swan Hill, there was a final between the top two teams.
Rochy was good enough to make the final and despite taking an early lead, they were overrun by St Mary’s to finish as runner-up.
Excitingly for the team, there is still a possibility they will qualify for the regional finals.
Miranda Crawford was incredibly calm and composed in the centre, Nat Moon dynamic in goals and Jordy Rasmussen made intercept after intercept in defence.
Thanks to the children for their wonderful attitude for the whole day and to all the parents and friends who came to show their support.
