ROCHESTER Primary School’s boys soccer team starred at the recent Campaspe Soccer Tournament, winning all six games and did not concede a goal.

The girls team came away with two wins, two losses and three draws in an entertaining day at the event in Moama.
All up, 24 grade 5 and 6 students from Rochester took part in the day with both the school’s teams playing some terrific soccer.
The girls’ team was coached by Jeje Mirasol and the team had a really fun and enjoyable day.
At the end of they day, they had two wins, two close losses and three draws.
Two brilliant goals to Sophie Joyce and another great goal to Erin Haisman helped to win those games.
Kaylah Moon was fantastic as goalkeeper while Lily Caine, Amy Pascoe and Bailey Town were fantastic help in defence.
Charlize Weeks, Maddie Howard, Pepper Bannon and Miranda Crawford worked tirelessly through the midfield and repeatedly bombed the ball into our attacking area.
Indy Bruton and Amayah Pudney were very dangerous around goals all day.
The boys played some incredible soccer throughout the day.

Trey White kicked five goals for the day, including three goals in one game, while Seth Turi score three goals of his own.
Brodie Dobell was a wall as goakeeper and nothing got past him for the whole day.
Flynn Pain and Brock Keenan organised the backline and were well supported by Coby Barnstable and Jett James.
Rochester’s midfield dominated every game, thanks to hard work from Lachy Joyce, Jordy Rasmussen and Aidan Menzies.
Jordan Town looked dangerous all day and managed a goal in the first game and Billy Ludbey kicked the goal in the last game that meant that we went through undefeated.
Rochester’s students showed fantastic support for each other and showed great sportsmanship in all their games.
