Roos 58 def Rovers 36
A Grade’s dominant win against the Rovers was a huge confidence booster for the girl’s following two consecutive losses.
While it was a hard couple of weeks, particularly with illness, the team banded together to get the win with a full team effort.
The Roos defence was in great form with Jen Barrett and Sophie Hanrahan leading the charge in turnovers and intercepts.
Awards:
Club 1- Jen Barrett -Worked hard in defence, Jen was proactive, challenging the swaps and fighting for the intercepts.
Club 2 & MVP- Grace Senior was poised from the first ball. She dominated in and out of the ring, created space and found the post easily.

Canteen- Madi O’Keefe drove hard, was decisive and found the pocket to feed the ball in each time to the shooters.
