Steve Pavone defeated Andrew Harris in a high-standard final that produced many highlights.
Pavone was consistent in his fine display and exerted pressure on Harris over the early ends. Harris tried gallantly to make up the leeway but Pavone had all the answers.
In the 100-up championship, Pavone was again to the fore by eliminating Neil Haines with another masterful display and winning 100-90 to reach the final. Ray Hanson is to play Brian Kinnane, with the winner to meet Bill Musgrove to decide the other finalist.
The club wishes to thank Grant Humbert (Humbert Landforming) for sponsoring the supply of club scorecards for the season of bowls. The Bendigo Bank is also instrumental in supporting the Lockington Bowls Club.
