The cost is a one off $5 or $10 per family.

Play starts from 4.30pm but you can turn up anytime later and play until dark.
On Tuesday, February 18, the club ran a drawn fours event with 24 players.
The winners were M. Knight, T. Costello, M. Harley and D. Milgate.
The raffle winner was Cheryl Anderson.
Today’s event will be social and the first round of B grade.

Sunday Scrounge Elseys Chicken Run seven rink winners were Allan Benson, Jenny Major, Brian Godden, Bailey Randle, Rod McAsey, Mary Burrow and Kevin Burrow.
The club sends the Wills Family their deepest sympathy on the passing of our past member Betty.
60 and over was at Ky Valley View on Wednesday, February 19 with 28 teams.
It was great to get back on their greens after a lengthy time off due to green maintenance.
On Wednesday, we will play at Rochester, starting at 10am.
Ladies 100 Up
T. Costello is through to the semi-final and will play the winner of S. Scholl/J. Tamburini.
J. Major and L. Bond will play the other semi-final by March 5 with the final to be on March 20.

Both divisions just missed out on the final 4.

Rochester lost overall by 44 shots.
Division 2 v Elmore at home: Serena Sholl, Aileen Fiedler, Elaine Hall, Sandra Watkins (lost 21-33); Cheryl Anderson, Trish Costello, Beryl Elliott, Ev Nichol (lost 21-30); Janis Tamburini, Di Milgate, Mal McCraild, Heather Wilson (won 26-22).
Rochester lost overall by 17 shots.
Mens 100 up
Rounds are continuing with the third round to be played by March 8.
Rochester’s Mixed pairs championship
The competition is up to the third round.
Winners through to the semis are Clayton/Tamburini to play Weeks/Costello.
Major/Kneebone will play the winner of the Anderson/Smolenaars match.
Mens 21 Up
The draw is up to round 4 to be completed by March 15.

The competition is almost complete with P. Holzer/R. Clayton through to the final and will play against B. Jones/B. Major.

Division 2 v Echuca at home: Tim Quinlan, Brian Jones, John Boyd, Bill Anderson (won 24-17); Brian Trengove, Ross Turner, Leigh Milgate, Francis Keech (won 29-16); John Weeks, Gerard Browne, Allan Crilly, Kevin Burrow (lost 20-27).
Rochester won overall by 13 shots.
Despite their win, Rochester narrowly missed out on a place in the top four.
Division 3 v Echuca at Echuca: Alan Benson, Gavin Houlihan, Des Hocking, Peter Stack (won 23-19); Hedley Moon, Graeme Chambers, Greg Watkins, Bert Smolenaars (won 21-19); Don Gillies, Tony Scott, Kevin Hall, Mal Macraild (won 30-18).
Rochester won overall by 18 shots.
Their win earned them a spot in the finals.
Division 4 v Echuca at home: Anton Gusak, Norm Christie, Don Thompson, Ron Gledhill (lost 15-28); Graham Prince, Bruce Kneebone, Jim Pentelow, Rod McAsey (lost 10-41); Clive Usher, Kevin McCormack, Noel Sexton, Shane Ryan (lost 13-48).
Rochester lost overall by 79 shots.
Lockington
The women conducted a successful twilight mixed fours tournament on Tuesday evening attracting 80 bowlers.
At the completion of the three games of nine ends there were three undefeated teams.
Based on a wins and points system, very little separated the teams with the local players dominating the overall result.
The rink comprising Pauline Humbert, Max Williams, Ann Williams and Kevin Humbert (s) from Elmore/Lockington were declared the winners on 80 points ahead of Leon Laffy, Annette Brereton, Russell Shawcross and Leanne McInnes (s) 79 points.
In third place was Phylis MacFralane, Ray Hanson, Heather Cheatley and Graham Turner (s) (Lockington/Finley) scoring 78 points.
Special competition winners included Graham Turner, Ruth Lenny, Tricia Jones, Betty Ozols and Wes Bertouch.
A well organised event and congratulations to tournament secretary Annie Haines and her committee.
Kevin Humbert and Les Brereton were acknowledged for their effort in preparing the excellent green.
The CVBD Pennant round resulted in a few positives for the club with division two scoring a tremendous victory over Rich River while division four failed to defeat Rich River with two rinks up.
The women lost to City of Echuca by two shots 75-77 with only one rink up but another losing by a slender two shots.

In weekend pennant our division two team won all three rinks in a brilliant display of teamwork to win 109-66.
Rink details: Graham Turner def. R. King 36-25; Jim Harris def. R. Berryman 41-16; Ian Johnson def. T. Noar 32-25.
Division four were gallant in defeat in their clash against Rich River, losing by seven shots 67-74 with two rinks up.

In club competitions the president’s trophy 21 Up is slowly reaching semi-final stage.
Kalvin Stout defeated John van Den Bosch to make a semi-final.
Other games to be completed include B Kinnane v. S Peter, T Davis v I Johnson and A Kauffman to play the winner of the G Turner/L Laffy match.
The 100 Up championship has Andrew Harris in a semi-final after eliminating Neil Haines.
B Musgrove v. P Cunnington and T Davis v. R Hanson are the remaining matches.
The B grade championship round was a Brian Kinnane victory over Owen ‘‘Smiley’’ McPhee.
There was another fine roll up for the popular Friday evening Cold meat and salad/ practice session.
The lucky members draw favoured the absent Don Isgro.
Lockington will host the mid-week division two and three first semi-finals on Friday.
On Sunday, the Moama Bowling Club hosted the Bendigo/Campaspe Regional finals in the State Singles and State Pairs.
Both Bendigo and Campaspe divisions shared the honors with a win in both Singles and Pairs.
The Campaspe women won both Singles and Pairs as Pat Schram (City of Echuca) completely dominated her game against Helen Clough (Bendigo East) before winning 25-8.
In the state pairs, Terry Thompson and Mary-Anne Spizer (s) (Moama) combined in exacting fashion to defeat Jean Belt/Val White (Bendigo) 24-9.
In the state singles and pairs for the men, Merv Harvey (Moama) was pitted against the talented Lee Schraner (Bendigo East) in the singles.
Schraner won the encounter 25-14.
The state pairs was another game that resulted in blow-out proportions as Ron Bunting/Vern Rehe (s) (Moama) came up against Brad Marron and Schraner (s) (Bendigo East).
In the closing stages the Bendigo East teammates were able to win the game 26-5.
Colbinabbin
Weekend Pennant
Colbinabbin ventured to Violet Town on Saturday with second place up for grabs but once again failed to deliver, ending up 19 shots down and not winning a rink.
This now means that Colbinabbin will play Mooroopna Golf in the first semi-final next Saturday to see who can continue on in finals race.
The selectors have been scratching their heads and once again continue to put in long hours going through the teams to come up with successful combinations.
60 and Over
The experienced combination bounced back with a couple of wins last Wednesday almost pulling off the unthinkable but went down in the third game on the last bowl.
Mid-week invitation fours tournament
Colbinabbin held a mid-week invitation fours on Thursday, February 20.
After two games were completed there were 4x2 game winners and at end of day Hilltop took the honours with 3 wins and 47 points.
Nagambie were runners-up with 37 points.
Roll to spider was won by Fiona Rourke from Katandra West and roll to ditch was won by Carol Cakebread from Rochester.

60 and Over
The Campaspe Valley and District 60 and over bowls group held their weekly Wednesday bowls at Valley View Bowls Club.
A total of 28 teams, that’s 112 players competed for a chook.
Two teams had won 3 games then rolled off to within the yard stick.
A team from Kyabram were the winners on the day with four bowls within the yard stick.
The team were Dominic Perri, Mitch Stevens, Howard Tonkins and John Fanning.
The team that came second were from Rich River, they had 3 bowls within the yard stick.
They were Peter Preston, Roger Teasdale, Keith Rowan and Keith Robinson.
Members of both teams received a chook each.
It’s pleasing to see some new faces taking home the chooks.
Next Wednesday, February 26, 60 and over bowls is at Rochester Bowls Club with a 10am start.
We would like to see more teams than usual next Wednesday, it’s a great day out.
