For the second time this year, local sporting events were cancelled across the weekend due to the heat.
Friday saw midweek bowls matches cancelled after the mercury rose to an astounding 46 degrees.
With a forecast of 43 degrees for Saturday, CTA tennis, GMC cricket and CVBD bowls were all cancelled, with no results recorded.
The official temperature in Echuca on Saturday hit a maximum of 39.2 degrees.
GMC cricket has altered its fixture, with next Saturday's matches to serve as one day games, as opposed to the second day of play in two-day games.
Points were shared in both midweek and weekend bowls, as well as in the CTA tennis.
This coming Friday and Saturday are both scheduled to have temperatures of 34, which will mean play will resume for all sports, as well as providing a much cooler environment for spectators at the Southern 80.
