Following its victory against the highly fancied Tongala side prior to the Christmas break, Rochy is ready to resume its Goulburn Murray Cricket premiership defence.
And there will be no better way to prove its standing as one of the competition's best sides than to beat ladder-leader Kyabram Fire Brigade on Saturday.
“It's always a massive game against Ky, no matter where they are on the ladder,” Rochester captain Sean Williams said.
“Their side might look a bit different from previous years but they still have plenty of quality in their line up.
“Knocking off Tonny has put us in a great position and everyone is really looking forward to getting back out in the field.
“We're really excited for the second half of the season.”
One of Rochester's biggest battles in 2019 was trying to find consistency but Williams believes his side are on the right path to fixing the issue.
“There were a few times where some brilliant individual displays were keeping us in games but I think that is starting to change,” he said.
“Across both our batting and bowling we've started to see guys find more consistent form which has helped us to win games.
“Our younger guys are getting better on a weekly basis which is really pleasing to see because our goal is for everyone to get the best of themselves.
“We're going to need another all round team performance if we are going to win this weekend.
“And I don't think there is any doubt we are going to be able to do that.”
Rochester was meant to resume its season last weekend but hot conditions meant its game against Echuca South has now been rescheduled.
The game will now be played on February 23.
