ROCHESTER under 15 mentor Kristy Roulston has capped off a fantastic season after she was named the Goulburn Murray Coaches Association youth netball coach of the year.
Roulston beat Undera's Amber Phillips and St Mary's Sarah D'Orria to claim the award in a season where her young Tigerettes won the Goulburn Valley League premiership.
The award was Roulston's second individual honour in the post-season having also been named the GVL's youth coach of the year.
But she said her achievements wouldn't have been possible without a large amount of support.
“I see the award not just for me but the entire club,” she said.
“Without the support from the committee, assistant coaches and team managers my job would be much more difficult.
“Rochy has a great connection from the junior ranks right through to the seniors which makes it a place where you want to be.
“Winning these sorts of awards wouldn't be possible without the hard work all of the girls put in.
“It caps off what was an amazing year.”
