Guest speaker for the function, Channel Ten television personality Walt Collins, came down with COVID on the eve of the function and had to conduct his presentation via zoom.
It turned out to be a tour of his farmhouse at Corop, which is the centre of attention of a two-part series titled Country House Facelift.
Mr Collins is the owner of BSTV, one of Australia's fastest growing production companies and is executive producer across five major broadcaster series on Australian television.
In 2017 he went viral with 98 million people watching a video of him installing a clever cat-proof fence, which was picked up by UniLad, Vice, ViralThread and other online platforms.
The high tea was one part of a two-format event, which involved 15 teams of four tackling the Rochester Golf Club in an ambrose event on Saturday.
In total, $9000 was raised from the event for the St Joseph’s Primary School.
It continues a recent string of successful events, including the Elmore tractor pull.
