They are the parents of Daniel Morcombe, who are travelling Australia to educate children on personal safety, both in the real world and online.
The event has been sponsored by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and will be at no cost to families of the school.

Students at Tocumwal Public School participated in their school spelling bee finals on August 4.
This spelling bee is a lead up to the Premier’s Spelling Challenge for students in Years 3-6.
Students who made it through the school competition will attend this event later this term.
Congratulations to Samuel White in the Year 3/4 section and Adelaide Haley in the Year 5/6 Section who will be going on to compete in the regional finals. Best of luck to Sam and Adelaide.

The Local Health Advisory Committee is working in conjunction with the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network to bring the ‘Conversations on the Couch' program to Tocumwal.
This free session is a part of a Health Needs Assessment that is taking place across the Murrumbidgee region, aimed at identifying and finding solutions for any gaps in the health services they offer.
“(We are seeking) your health stories and your views (to) help us plan for your local health needs now and in the future,” LHAC said.
Residents are encouraged to come and chat about any concerns or ideas they may have about health services in their community.
Past conversations have raised awareness of issues such as mental health of farmers, GP shortages, and awareness and access to specialist services.
This year, the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network are hoping to receive feedback on Aboriginal and Indigenous health services, LGBTQIA+ health services, mental health for all members of the community, and migrant and refugee health.
They will also be seeking feedback on child, maternity, family, teen, and farmer’s health, along with dedicated men’s and women’s health issues.
Please note there has been a recent change of venue and the Tocumwal session will now be held at the Tocumwal Pavilion on Friday, August 26 between 9.30am to 11.30am.

TRIGGER Performance are seeking expressions of interest from the local community in the hope of running sports competition nights on the old bowling greens for kids, teens and adults for Term 4 2022 and Term 1 2023.
They are looking at running sessions for teams of five in lacrosse, volleyball and t-ball which will be played on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon/evenings.
