Random House vandalised for the second time in a fortnight

THE jewel in Rochester's crown has been further sullied as reckless vandals have targeted Random House once again.

For the second time in one week the town's neglected heritage house has been torn through and vandalised, now with what appear to be more holes kicked into the walls and windows smashed.

Photos sent to Campaspe News show the house's decline in detail.

Member for Murray Plains Peter Walsh said last week he was "angry the government is taking so long to put the property on the market" and said he would "personally raise the matter with the minister".

Rochester continues to wait for the house's "imminent" sale declared by the Victorian Government in July this year, who also said the Department of Human Services was preparing the house for sale on the market.
