Twig to danger of fallen trees

Rochester SES controller Judith Gledhill said a loader from Nichol Trading helped Loddon Shire remove the tree, and warned drivers to be wary of objects on the road.

‘‘There are more trees dropping in the dry weather, it seems to be our busiest time of year,’’ she said.

‘‘We had six people chopping up the tree and moving it off the road. If you see a tree on the road that’s too large to be moved, call the SES on 132500.’’
