The state recorded 15 deaths and 13,755 new COVID-19 infections on Thursday, including 6130 from PCR tests and 7625 from rapid antigen tests.
Children aged five to 11 can now walk up to receive a paediatric vaccine from hubs at Dandenong Plaza, Caroline Springs, Sunshine Hospital and Campbellfield Ford Complex.
Previously parents had to book ahead to get their children vaccinated.
Additionally, 15 primary schools will provide pop-up vaccination clinics this weekend, including schools in South Melbourne, Wyndham Vale, Lilydale and Fountain Gate.
"The countdown to Term 1 is on - and if parents haven't organised to have their kids vaccinated yet, now's the time," Premier Daniel Andrews said.
Meanwhile, COVID-19 Response Deputy Secretary Naomi Bromley said 32 testing sites were closed on Wednesday due to the hot weather.
"And we had a few disruptions this morning as a result of some of the storm activity," she told reporters.
Victoria is now managing 119,153 active cases in the state.
Hospitalisations with COVID-19 have fallen by 32, with 1057 patients in the state's hospitals.
There are 117 people in intensive care, an increase of four, with 40 of those on a ventilator.
The number of Victorians aged over 18 who have received their COVID-19 vaccine booster has risen to 35 per cent, after 16,979 doses were given at state-run hubs on Wednesday.
