After the recent success of the Euroa Agricultural Society Autumn Beef Cattle Show, the committee is already gearing up for 2023.
Society Cattle Committee member Leanne Colclough said more than 130 head of cattle were entered in the March 12 show, with 13 different breeds represented.
As reported in last week’s Country News, Brodie Collins from Merridale Angus at Tennyson took out Supreme Exhibit with his cow Merridale Cydie Q24.
“We had an extra additional class this year — an interbreeds group of three, where exhibitors gathered a group from different studs to represent their breed,” Ms Colclough said.
“This was taken out by Progress Limousins, Yanco.
“Our judges came from Gippsland to judge more than 130 classes between them from championships, parader classes to junior judging.”
She said the committee was very happy with the quality and number of exhibitors and thanked sponsors for their support.
