Local Coronavirus update

As of 11am, Thursday, April 9 the Federation Council area remains at seven confirmed COVID-19 cases. Indigo Shire is yet to record a case.

No new cases have been recorded in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District for five days running.

The total number of Coronavirus confirmed cases in NSW is 2,773 (an increase of 39). Victoria stands at 1228 (an increase of 16 from yesterday).

NSW total number of Coronavirus deaths is 21. Victoria’s total number of deaths from coronavirus is now 12.

In NSW more than 130,000 have been tested. More than 62,000 tests have been conducted to date in Victoria.

Authorities remind people there are only four reasons you should leave your home: food and supplies, medical care and care giving, exercise, and work or education.
