Five competitions made the trip to Rochester Recreation Reserve as part of the event, with teams entered across age groups from under 12s to under 16s.
The GCJFL fielded three teams in the under 12s, 13s and 14s across the competition.
Unfortunately, the under 12s finished at the bottom of their respective ladder after games against Central Vic Blue, Seymour DJFNL, Central Vic Gold and Shepparton DJFL.
The under 13s side featured in just one match against a Shepparton side, going down by 63 points.
It was a more positive day for the under 14s side as they finished third on the ladder behind Shepparton and Murray FL Black.
