The students earned their spots after good results in the school’s annual cross country event for grades 3-6.
It was a beautiful afternoon on Wednesday and the effort and enthusiasm of the students was fantastic.
Nine and 10-year-old students ran 2km and 11 and 12-year-old students ran 3km.
First past the finish line was Cale James, who won the 10-year-old age group with a cracking time of 8:18.
The first girl past the post was Lily Reid, who won the 9-year-old girls age group with a time of 11:09.
Cadence Major was the first 10-year-old girl and Charlie Watson won the 9-year-old boys age group.
Jordan Town was the first to complete the 3km track for the second year in a row with a time of 12:47.
Maddie Howard was the first girl to finish the 3km track, winning the 11-year-old girls section with a time of 15:45.
Natalie Moon was the winner of the 12-year-old girls race and Trey White won the 11-year-old age group.
From this event, students who recorded times within the set standards then qualified for the Campaspe Cross Country, which is to be run this Friday in Echuca.
