The school prides itself on running engaging programs to ensure all children are happy and safe while they learn.
Small class sizes and outstanding facilities make it easy for children and teachers to work together to enable all children to achieve their best.
Nanneella Estate Primary has welcomed some of the young children who will be starting school in 2020 to the “Practising Prep” program, which is run at the school each year, to ensure a smooth transition into primary school.
The children were well looked after by the Littleroom students and the principal, Ian Denson, who was the surprise teacher for the day. This was the first day of the Practising Prep program, which Mrs Arthur will run regularly throughout the year.
“The practising preps all had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave at the end of their session, which is always a good sign,” Mr Denson said.
A forest area and modern play equipment are appreciated by all the children and allow them to play together in a family-like atmosphere.
Locals are encouraged to get along to the school’s Community Kids Day at 10am on Wednesday, May 29 to join in with our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Celebrations and to visit the P/1/2 classroom and have a tour of the school.
A 2020 Prep Information Evening will also be held at school in the following week on Tuesday, June 4. Anyone wanting to attend either event is welcome.
Any interested parents who would like their child to join in the fun or attend a trial session please feel free to contact the school on 5484 5395.
