Author Darry Fraser will visit Rochester Library

By Campaspe News

TAKING her new book The Widow of Ballarat on tour, Darry Fraser will appear at Rochester library on Thursday.

With three novels to her name, Darry draws inspiration from and captures the Australian landscape throughout her writing.

Her first two novels, Daughter of the Murray and Where The Murray River Runs were released in 2016 and 2017 respectively and drew on both our local imagery and history.

The Widow of Ballarat is a story of passion, adventure and a woman’s quest for independence set against the colourful backdrop of 19th-century Bendigo and the goldfields of Ballarat.

The Rochester library welcomes everyone to hear Darry speak on Thursday, December 6 at 2.30pm where The Widow of Ballarat will be for sale.

Afternoon tea will be provided but bookings are essential via campaspe.vic.gov.au/library, 5481 2868 or email [email protected]
