Parkville Burdette Katie, owned by Waaia’s James Dillon, was awarded the Senior Champion Cow in the Northern Victoria Ayrshire On-Farm Challenge.
The challenge, which was judged on November 5 and 8 by Ian Gallus, saw 61 cattle entered from 10 exhibitors, with presentations made on November 21.
The Senior Champion Cow also was awarded Best Udder, and Mr Dillon was also successful in the Reserve Junior Champion Cow class with Regal Park Opportunity Rose.
Stanhope’s Doug Schlenert’s cow Werombi Lindy was the Reserve Senior Champion Cow and Junior Champion went to Lachlan Park Tessa, owned by Lachlan Forster of Strathmerton.
