Parmalat Echuca pay dispute resolved

Parmalat Echuca workers are ‘‘stoked’’ following the resolution of a long running pay dispute that saw workers locked out of the factory for more than two months.

Under the offer accepted by workers, wage increases will continue over the life of the agreement, all workers will be direct employees of the company, and existing agreements and provisions will remain in place.

The 70 workers have been locked out since January 18, but are expected to return to work this week.
