What a lovely lot of rain we've received over the past week.
The mowers won't get a chance to cool down, but we aren't complaining.
The Monday Niners played a three-person ambrose last week.
The team of Dick Henderson, Tony Murray and Ray Peake came in winners with a great score of 37-6-31.
Runners-up were Frank Broucek, Denise Pappin and Laurie Radley.
Their score was 40-45/6-351/6.
Nearest the pin was unclaimed on the 5th, and on the 7th, the second shot went to Ray Peake.
We also had a lucky card this week which was won by Wayne Robinson.
The ladies’ straightest drive on the 3rd went to Shirley McAsey, and for the men on the 9th Dick Henderson.
COVID-19 is getting a little too close.
There are quite a few who have gone down with it in Bendigo.
So please everyone, do the right thing and stay safe.
