IT IS Falls Prevention Day tomorrow at REDHS.
The health service is holding a free information day for those who have fallen, have a fear of falling or know someone who is in this category.
REDHS’s dietitian, podiatrist, health promotion officer, exercise physiologist and physiotherapist will all be on hand to provide information on the effects that nutrition and hydration have on the incidence of falls and the benefits of exercise.
They will also be conducting wheelie frame safety checks.
The day begins at 10.30am in the function room.
The cafe will also be highlighting healthy food options, with a 50 per cent discount on all food and drink purchases on the day.
